Tan A Lu, an ethnic from Vietnam, has battled eye cancer since the age of 11. Despite cultural and linguistic barriers, he was able to pursue education and start his lovely family.
Unfortunately, in 2017, A Lu had to make the painful decision to give up his left eye. With declining health and limited treatment options in their hometown, his family has sold their possessions to seek treatment in Singapore.
